AWI funds life-changing service dogs for veterans and first responders — and empowers local Fairway teams through 'Outposts' to lead fundraising in their own communities. The veterans and first responders AWI serves are often seniors themselves, carrying invisible wounds long after their service ended. A service dog doesn't just provide physical assistance — it restores independence, confidence, and the will to keep going.

For seniors navigating the hardest chapters of their lives, knowing that the people helping them with their mortgage are also fighting for their community changes everything.

Championed by Rotary and ADRAG, Music Mends Minds is creating a movement around one powerful truth: music reaches the parts of the brain that Alzheimer's hasn't touched yet. Through live music programs for memory care facilities and caregiver support events, Music Mends Minds gives caregivers and their patients something no medication can — genuine joy. And joy, as it turns out, is one of the most powerful tools we have for slowing cognitive decline.
