The Alzheimer's / Dementia Rotary Action Group
ADRAG is a Rotary Action Group dedicated to raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, supporting caregivers, promoting brain health, and advancing Rotary's role in addressing one of the world's most pressing health challenges.
Through its global network of Ambassadors and Club Champions, ADRAG connects Rotarians across more than 200 countries to local communities affected by dementia — providing education, advocacy, and resources that protect both patients and the families who love them.

Experimental Drug Shows Promise in Animal Models of Alzheimer's Disease
Scientists at ETH Zurich have reported encouraging results from an experimental drug targeting a newly identified mechanism in Alzheimer's disease — a protein known as GRK2 that can accumulate and form harmful aggregates within nerve cells. Jeff and Jacqui Morby delivered a passionate talk about the coming "silver tsunami" — the wave of Alzheimer's and dementia cases expected to sweep across the world. Jeff, co-founder of the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, described the immense human and societal toll of the disease and the urgent need for global action.
In the audience sat Past District Governor Dave Clifton, who immediately saw a powerful connection between Rotary's mission of Service Above Self and the moral imperative to respond. That moment sparked what would become ADRAG — a global movement now operating across more than 200 countries.
